Information
The City of New Martinsville has 5 wells and 4 storage tanks. The wells are located at Leap St., Wetzel St., Bridgeman Lane, Rosary Road, and Benjamin Dr. The source of water supply is ground water. All 5 wells consist of chlorination and calciquest.
Hospital Water storage holds 210,545 gallons of ground water and the storage tank is located just East of the City of New Martinsville with access from Whitten Lane.
One million gallon tank holds 1,000,000 gallons of ground water and it is located just East of the city with access from Whitten Lane.
The Steelton Water Tank holds 316,096 gallons of ground water and is located on the North end of town with access from E. Benjamin Dr.
The South Reservoir water storage tank holds 405,000 gallons of ground water and is located near the center of town with access from Virginia St.
The City of New Martinsville supplies approximately 1,900,000 gallons of water a month to PSD 1.
